Ingredients
Bread and Cheese
4 slices of your favorite bread
1/2 wheel Brie cheese, sliced
Meat and Fruit
4 slices of bacon, cooked until desired crispiness
1/2 apple, cored and thinly sliced
Additional Ingredients
1 tbsp honey
Butter for spreading on the outer sides of the sandwiches
Instructions
Prepare the bread and cheese: Take 2 slices of bread and place Brie cheese slices on one side of each slice.
Add bacon: Place two slices of cooked bacon on top of the cheese-covered side of each bread slice.
Layer apples: Arrange thinly sliced apples evenly on top of the bacon.
Drizzle honey: Drizzle 1 tablespoon of honey over the apple slices to add subtle sweetness.
Assemble sandwiches: Top each open-faced sandwich with the remaining slices of bread to form two sandwiches.
Butter the outer sides: Spread butter on the outside of each sandwich to ensure a golden crust when grilled.
Preheat the panini grill: Heat the panini grill over medium heat until ready.
Grill the sandwiches: Place the sandwiches on the grill and cook for about 5 minutes until the bread is golden brown and the Brie cheese has melted.
Serve warm: Remove from the grill, slice each sandwich in half, and enjoy immediately for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
You can substitute the apple with pear slices for a different fruity flavor.
Use any type of bread you prefer, like sourdough or ciabatta, to customize texture and taste.
For a less sweet sandwich, reduce the amount of honey or omit it completely.
If you don't have a panini grill, you can use a skillet with a heavy pan to press the sandwich during cooking.
To crisp the bacon, cook it in a skillet or oven before assembling to your preferred texture.
